Benefits of Our Sparring Program

Students at Legacy TaeKwonDo of Northern Kentucky participate in Olympic Style Sparring. It takes the Martial Art of TaeKwonDo and applies rules and techniques that allows students to train in a safe, injury-free environment! 

Olympic style sparring can be used in competition, for athletes who wish to participate. OR it can be a great way for students to apply skills like evaluating how an attacker moves, responding with agility to block or evade, and counter attacking appropriately depending on the available targets and circumstance. These are all skills necessary for self defense, but are applied in a fun, aerobically active, and supervised environment. 

Sparring is a great way to relieve stress and improve health, without having to hit the treadmill or pump weights. You'll find yourself more agile, more aerobically fit, more balanced, and with more energy to improve your business and personal life.
